In October
We played in the woods of NC
where the boys hiked and ran free.
We dressed up as heroes
and felt the sand in our toes
way down on Big Pine Key.
In November
We visited a farm to pick crops
and sang Happy Birthday to PopPops.
Thanksgiving came and went
all the yummy food heaven sent.
The fun just never stops.
In December
We enjoyed lots of voices at the Christmas show
where Xman's pure love for his teachers did glow.
We spent happy times with family and friends
and requested what we'd like Santa to send.
On His big day, there was laughter, peace, and joy...but no snow.
In January
It turned colder, but just for a bit
We still could wear flip flops outside, loving it.
We jumped and we played with cousins we adore
Trampoline, parks, and forts by the shore.
The cold didn't last,and the sunshine was a hit.
In February
Our hearts filled with joy
as we celebrated our littlest baby boy.
Two was the milestone this year
Xan smiled and laughed and spread his cheer.
Needing nothing but family and friends...and maybe a new toy.
In March
We played in SNOW up North with sweet family
We met grandmas and grandpas, and trains we did see.
Snowmen, snowballs, hot cocoa, and snowsuits
We loved it so much, we hardly took off our boots.
The end of our trip brought a big scare, but God saw us through, SO grateful are we.
In April
It felt like the boys grew a foot or more
Xan's now two and Xavie's almost four!
Skateboards and scooters and bikes
Nothing but fun for these little tikes.
Early Easter morning, we saw the sun rise at the shore.
There...I did it...I caught up the time.
Time flies too fast to make it all rhyme.
This mommy life is crazy and Hard but amazing too.
Keeping it all together is something I try daily to do.
Motherhood is often an uphill climb
But it is worth it. Very worth it.
Next month's shenanigans will hopefully be documented here...so I never forget these hectic, dirty, busy, but oh so sweet moments.
