I lie here tonight with an angel sleeping on my chest.
I am studying his eyes and blond eyelashes
his pouty perfect lips
his little chest rising up and down up and down
his sweet tiny hand over my heart.

I find myself in this precious place once again
This place of amazement
perfection
gratitude
joy
and indescribable love

My little Xavie, my first angel
wrapped his little body around me at bedtime tonight
his little arms and legs melted into me
"Mama," he sighed
I felt in that moment and this one too...more than I ever thought possible
So much love

Thomas (Na-Na)

Thomas the Train, or Na-Na, as X calls him, is a huge hit at our house! We have a Thomas obsessed  little boy! We watch Thomas the Train before bedtime. X is mesmerized by the island of Sodor and all of its useful engines. He watches and says all of their names as the trains go by.  We read Thomas books  every day before naps and bedtime.  He knows ALL of the characters!

I just got out a wooden Thomas train set we received as a gift before X was born. I thought maybe he was old enough now to play with it without chewing on all of the pieces. He LOVES it! He didn't nap for two days...just sat in his crib for 2 hours thinking about THOMAS. ;)
